Waste of money !

So next time you are going to curse old PC for crashing in PC farm or use crappy old tools in your half destroyed lab and you will ask yourself why should this be that way ? Is it true that Technion doesnt have money for education ? Should I go striking again ? - Look at this pictures for answer.
Here is your new tools or new PC farm - buried in this unnecessary square that was built between Denzinger and Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management.
For me personally ,going up to my faculty, become more troublesome and more dangerous than before thanks to it.

One can somewhat reasonably object that it is not our money to decide what to do with them. Trully, even if reaches would want to see giant phallus floating near Ulmann who are we to reject such a generous gift... But Technion ! Technion.. Technion should know better !

Statue, fountain or hole to the center of the earth ?

In fact I just thought of another option ... remember Lost and the Hatch... I am sure Technion just build new station to watch us ! But still I wouldn't be surprised to see enourmouse statue standing on it, surrounded by weird shaped fountain which take it's roots from the earth core.

One thing though that is undoubtedly true... If it will buldge out even one centimeter it will hold gigantic plate with bunch of weird names of dudes that wished to disturb the harmony of Technion beauty.

Announcment

Dear readers, I wasnt updating my blog for so long because I had very rough semester. And though I do have some time now ,my study torment finally going to end, and so I will be leaving realm of technion in a month (so I hope at least).
I could update all the Tech stuff we missed last semester but I need some comments from you (In case after 4 month of silence you still visit this page).

And most important thing . If any one want to catch up and post here things about Technion ,please you are most welcome. Just send me an e-mail

Mizrach Upgraded !

New grocery has been opened this week in Mizrach Hadash



I actually have mixed feeling about this store. On the one hand it is nice that you dont need to go far to get drunk after failed exam. On the other hand it is pretty far to go the doctor to fix your dropped jaw after you see the price tag.

p.s if you wondered it is the branch of the Gaza store with all the good and bad you had there...
Piece of advice: check the expire dates before you are buying something

New Alphabet

TCC decided that 22 letters is to much for hebrew alphabet and it has to be reduced to 21. And who need this annoying "Sameh" anyway. It is not like anyone in Technion care for anything starting with "Sameh". Students for example...

Hello people !! Recently I received very interesting email. That what it says :

And I am competing for survivor 2.0 the tv reality series where 20 people are stranded on a deserted island for 52 days.

Weird sign and Test game

Clearly this sign has something to do with an UFO visiting Technion sometimes... Or may be it is bear on the walk.. anyhow this sign stands there for ages, confusing outside-world people about dwellers of the Tech...

P.s I want to run guessing "Know Technion" game. Which is still in test phase. If this experiment succeeds I will run it once or twice a week and even make a prize for a winner. So play and win :P ! I will announce right answer exactly in one week from now.

NEW DC CONFIGURATION

Hello Friends!

As I promised, I built standalone computer which performs only as DC server. It runs on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server OS and I hope it will be stable enough for this purpose.

Notwithstanding old configuration files for MyEnTunnnel still work, I recommend you enter to dc.2freedom.com and download latest software in order to avoid future problems and perchance improve performance.

Check also troubleshooting section and forum if you have any problems!

In addition you can post releases and requests on the forum! NO REGISTRATION NEEDED! But it strongly recommended! :)

Gate of Fire

It's been almost a week that this remains are lying near the lowest gate of Mizrach Hadash.
At first glance it seems like another desperate attempt to escape the Technion. Somebody speed his bike up and crashed into the Gates of Despair though dying but destroing it... Yeah.. rright.. Like it could happend in our plane of existence.

The truth seems more prosaic. If I recall correct this sign wasn't there up until before that burnt salvage appeared. So my version is - someone drop alite cigararette and caused the fire.

Dharma

We succeded to obtain another Dharma tape, which is revealing us the shoking truth that Taub is one of its stations
And if you dont know what Dharma is you obviously haven't seen Lost and most probably live in a cave.

Ulman report

I am going to finish up review of my Ulman Visitation.
This is how classroom look on 4th floor (first class on the left). It's look like they are going to build dance club there.
But the rumor said that all the destruction is made for Dean office. Who knows, may be it's true.



I dont know for how long it's been there (Ulmann 3rd floor). But I found this picture rather extraordinary. Starting from the fact that is very big and kinda .. out of place. It has lively colours, but simple graphics (IMO). So you decide is it good or bad... I dont know.

Emergency Puzzle

Enough with the sad. Lets get back to usual TechnionFun stuff.
And this one is definitly our material. Ulmann on this floor does have 2 exits - on left and right - But strangely enough arrows of emergency exits pointing in opposite directions and meeting in the middle of the exact location of blue column.
I wonder do I have to be Harry Potter to be able to escape through the wall or did they intend to say that to escape Ulman and Tech I need to run my head against the wall ?

Not Fun

I made a little trip to the Ulmann and found there a lot to write about.
Sad things first. Some boy crashed on a bike and didnt survive. And someone made him little memorial.
Strange that this time they didnt cover up student death (as the usually do). Probably because it didnt happend inside Tech gates.

Hail to the Hail

Weather continue to bring us surprises. Last year it was wind and fog - This year it is Hail and Snow.
I bet this Hail was casted upon us by some wizardry. Imagine sky without a single cloud and 5 min later the most crazy and powerful head hail you have ever seen. And 5 min afterward - like nothing ever happend.
